The Friends of Pleasant Prairie Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and enhance the park experience for all park patrons through fund development, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. From playgrounds to walking paths to nature preserves, there are opportunities for everyone in Pleasant Prairie to get outside and enjoy our parks!
Success Stories
Ball Field Improvement Project
The four new turf ball fields are now open at Prairie Springs Park. This project improves the reliability and overall quality of the recreation facilities, enabling more consistent scheduling, expanded programming, and hosting additional games and tournaments.
Community Events
Members of the board attended the RecPlex’s Kids and Family Expo in the spring to connect with the community and share more information about how the foundation is improving parks in Pleasant Prairie.
Toddler Playset
As part of the new playground project at Prairie Springs Park, the Friends of Pleasant Prairie Parks Foundation contributed to a playset for two-to-five-year-olds. This was also made possible thanks to donations from Uline and DK Contractors.
